Starting this May, Delaware Avenue transforms on the first Friday of every month into an open-air dining experience rooted in community, connection, and supporting local.
From May through October, the street closes to traffic and opens to something more meaningful—tables under string lights, live music, local vendors, and a walkable night filled with food, conversation, and familiar faces. It’s an invitation to slow down, explore your neighborhood, and experience the city in a new way.
With a focus on supporting independent restaurants and creating shared spaces for connection, Dining on Delaware is about more than just a night out—it’s about building something we want to come back to.

OPEN AIR LOCAL DINING
Lining Delaware Avenue, local restaurants bring their tables outside—each offering their own flavors, menus, and experience. From Italian to Mexican and everything in between, the street becomes a walkable dining experience designed for exploring, sharing, and rediscovering your favorite spots along the way.
LIVE MUSIC
Live music drifts through the avenue, setting the tone for the night. Featuring local artists on both ends of the street, it adds to the energy—whether you’re on a date, out with friends, or simply enjoying a solo evening in Trolley.
