About the event

Join Dr. Ashley Marchante-Hoffman, a child psychologist, for a talk about mental health supports for children.

She brings many years of professional experience working with children and adolescents, as well as personal experience raising two of her own children. Often, people ask, “How do I know if my child needs support?”, “Is this typical child development?”, “What is the right kind of support for my child?”

She understands how difficult, overwhelming, and confusing it can be to navigate the mental healthcare system. Dr. Marchante-Hoffman is offering this space to help demystify the process of accessing evaluations and supports for neurodivergent children, as well as how to evaluate the quality of the services you may be utilizing.

This will be a safe, inclusive space where parents/caregivers, educators, and other community members can ask questions, learn to recognize signs that your child may need help (while celebrating their strengths), and better understand…
